Senior Commercial Manager- Content & Digital Services
Reporting to the Tribe Lead- Digital Services, this role will be responsible for the overall commercial strategy for Digital Services and content, through the development and execution of strategies to increase a company’s customer base, revenue, and user retention for content and digital services. The role holder will lead cross-functional teams, collaborating with marketing, sales, and product teams, and using data analysis to identify and test new growth opportunities across the entire customer lifecycle
Responsibilities
•Strategy and leadership: Define and implement Content growth strategies, set ambitious goals, and lead cross-functional teams to achieve them.
• Commercial Strategy Development: Designing and executing comprehensive strategies to achieve sustainable Content Business growth and market leadership including deploying appropriate commercial models and pricing strategies for the different segments.
• Sales and Marketing Leadership: Overseeing all sales, marketing, and business development operations, including go-to-market (GTM) initiatives and brand positioning.
• Partner Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong, and profitable long-term relationships with key partners,
• Customer acquisition and retention: Drive user acquisition through various marketing channels and work to improve customer retention and lifetime value as well as strong understanding of customer behaviours and needs
• Data analysis and optimization: Use data analytics to understand user behaviour, analyze performance metrics, and identify opportunities for improvement across the conversion funnel on digital and social platforms
• Experimentation: Foster a culture of experimentation to test new ideas, strategies, and tactics for growth.
• Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with product, marketing, sales, and other teams to align growth initiatives with overall business objectives.
• Budget management and Revenue Management: Manage the growth marketing budget and allocate resources to different initiatives based on potential ROI.  Setting financial targets, managing commercial budgets, developing pricing strategies, and ensuring profitable growth.
• Creativity and innovation: Ability to find creative solutions and new ways to grow markets.
• Performance Monitoring: Establishing and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and providing regular reports to the executive team and the board of directors.
• Technical skills: Familiarity with analytics tools, CRM platforms, and other growth-related software is crucial.
• Team Leadership: Leading, mentoring, and scaling high-performing commercial teams and fostering a collaborative, performance-driven culture.

Qualifications
• A bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, finance, or a related field; an MBA or advanced degree is often preferred.
• Extensive experience in Content Business and 8 years plus in senior commercial or sales leadership roles, with a proven track record of driving significant revenue growth
• Profit & Loss responsibility experience
• Experience in preparation of budgets and forecasts in a large company
• Financial modelling experience, preferably in Excel
